A CPA with over 25 years experience in public accounting and corporate industry. He began his professional career with Price Waterhouse, an international CPA firm. As Audit Senior, Carlos performed audits in a wide variety of industries. He also performed M&A due diligence reviews in a number of merger and acquisition engagements including Oscar Meyer, Louis Rich Foods, Siemens Corp, CML Group (Boston), El Paso Electric Co, and Capital Tires Group.
Carlos held challenging senior management positions including CFO, Corporate Controller, and VP-Operations at companies including Pioneer New Media Technologies, Clarion Corp of America, and Memorex Corp. He was responsible for Accounting, Treasury, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Sales Administration, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
Carlos was brought into Memorex as CFO when the company was losing over a million dollars per month. A major corporate restructuring and financial turnaround was accomplished and 3 years later Memorex was sold for over $260 million.
Carlos received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at California State University, Sacramento. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the CPA's. He is a member of the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Section and also the California Society of CPA's Valuation Service Section. Carlos is on the Board of Directors of the Exchange Club of Irvine and on the St. John Neumann Pastoral Council. He runs in at least marathon each year.
